Shut up and drive

I have more in common with a 19-year old female R&B singer than you might think. On my way to work this morning, I was so into listening to the new Star 94 Morning Mess, (bye, bye Bert Show - you don't have a chance) when I almost drove into the back of a produce delivery truck! You know I have no problem with running in to the back of fruits, but it was to early in the morning. You are also probably thinking that it was my fault, but when I turned to scold the driver with my icy stare I noticed that he had purposely stopped his truck (as he turned into a parking lot) so he could visually react to some (apparently) shocking information he had just learned while talking on his cell phone.

Unless he is the new Paris Hilton (and I seriously doubt E! is following the wild antics of a produce truck driver in Atlanta) nobody is there to see or enjoy his facial expressions except for the person about to become intimate with the fruit in his rear. Drama queen. I have said it since my mom got her first Zack Morris-style cell phone, "If you can't talk on your phone and drive at the same time, hang up!"

Apparently the scientists agree with me. It is all over the Internet today. People should listen to Rihanna, and now maybe people will adjust their habits, because my 11-minute commute should only take me eight!
